3x Buhrs 3000 Compact

American Greetings Corporation (AGC) has once again chosen Buhrs. Two Buhrs 3000 Compact foil packaging systems will be installed this year. The third Buhrs 3000 will follow in early 2025. The new Buhrs systems collect sets of greeting cards and envelopes at high speed. This is done with the Batch Count Feeders developed by AGC itself, integrated in collaboration with Buhrs. The sets are then packed in stretch foil. This results in a tight, well-sealed packaging with an attractive appearance.

Nick Keijzer production manager

Buhrs welcomes Nick Keijzer as new production manager. Nick has gained valuable experience and expertise in 'lean' and project-based work. Given the ambitions, a perfect addition to the growth ambitions and further professionalization of the production department within the Buhrs organization. Nick is looking forward to realizing this ambition together with the production team.

Aad Rijke commercial director

Aad Rijke has joined Buhrs as commercial director. He has a wealth of international experience in the graphic industry. For Aad, choosing Buhrs was not difficult. ‘Buhrs is an ambitious, innovative Dutch company with a lot of growth potential in offering customer-specific packaging solutions. Buhrs has a good image this world. My challenge will be – together with colleagues – to increase the brand awareness even further and to put Buhrs even more firmly on the map within Europe and beyond. I am really looking forward to that.’

Broadridge again chooses Buhrs

A Buhrs 5000 Paper Wrapper packaging system has been installed at Broadridge Financial Solutions in Edgewood, New York U.S.A. The Buhrs 5000 can process documents with two attachments – folded or not. The maximum processing speed is 30,000 packages per hour. In addition, the new Buhrs 5000 Paper Wrapper can also produce self-mailers from a printed roll of paper. This is a new application on the third Buhrs 5000 that Broadridge Financial Solutions has put into use, in addition to the nine Buhrs foil packaging machines that Broadridge has been using for years.
